Is it safe to walk in Makati at night?

The area is very safe, plenty of police and security guard presence. During the day, over 600K people work in Makati, at night, a few hundred thousand residents and call center workers are there. It's crowded during the day and quiet at night. Every once in a while, crime is reported in Makati, but usually non-violent.
