What do I have to declare at Philippine customs?

Foreign currencies : up to USD 10,000.-, or its equivalent. Amounts exceeding USD 10,000.-, or its equivalent must be declared. Source of the money and purpose of transport must be declared. Note: Only banknotes and coins, which are legal tender, must be declared (exempt: traveler's checks, credit cards etc.).
